Information about how we handle your personal data
Data Protection at a Glance
This policy covers our static company website and enquiries sent using its contact links. The website has no accounts, contact forms, shop, advertising trackers, or embedded third-party media. Firebase Hosting processes technical data when you visit; we process the information you send when you contact us.
Hosting
We host this website using Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google. Google's infrastructure delivers the website and processes technical connection data, including visitors' IP addresses (see "Server Log Files" below).
We use this service in our legitimate interest in providing a secure, fast, and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Firebase Hosting is subject to Google's Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms, which describe Google's obligations when processing personal data on behalf of customers.
Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google's terms describe the safeguards for international transfers, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers to certified Google entities and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Further information is available in Google's Firebase privacy and security documentation.

Server Log Files
When you access this website, Google Firebase Hosting processes your IP address to deliver the website. Google also uses IP addresses of incoming requests to detect abuse and provide usage analysis.
According to Google's Firebase privacy documentation, Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months. Google does not specify an exact number of days in that documentation. Processing your IP address is necessary to deliver the website; without it, the site cannot be served to your browser.
Cookies, Analytics, and Fonts
This website does not set cookies or use browser local storage, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. We do not use Google Analytics. Google's hosting usage analysis described above is separate from Google Analytics.
Fonts and images are served with the website through Firebase Hosting. Loading a page does not make a separate request to Google Fonts. External links only take you to another website when you follow them; that website's privacy policy then applies.
Contact by Email or Telephone
When you contact us, we process the contact details you provide, the content of your enquiry, and related correspondence to respond. Email and telephone links open your own email or telephone application; they do not submit a form on this website.
For enquiries about a contract with you, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries, including business correspondence on behalf of a company, are handled under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining business relationships.
Our email and telecommunications providers process communications as needed to deliver their services. Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient information.
We retain correspondence while needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship. It is then deleted unless statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims require further retention. Retention required by law is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; retention for legal claims is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your Rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability under Articles 15 to 20 GDPR. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact info@lyxforge.com.
We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, including profiling, in connection with this website.
Right to Object
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).
Complaints
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence, workplace, or the alleged infringement.
The authority for our registered office is Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg, Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany. See its complaint form and contact options.
